Destress your body and mind! Do what makes you happy! Create a self love practice with pleasurable, delicious and nurturing rituals, you desire to actualize every day! Nourish all areas of your life and create balance, ease and joy. That is the essence of holistic health.

Live your life in a way that will make your body produce relaxation- and destress hormones, which will create a self healing and nourishing environment in every cell and molecule.

How to? Here’s my guide:

1. Walk. Go for long walks, short walks, in the nature, in the streets, in the park. Walk slowly and enjoy the surroundings, or walk fast and get your heart pumping and blood flowing.

2. Choose more of the vitalizing foods your body requires, instead of excluding. Use your intuition and ask your body what it desires to eat and drink. Balance and pleasure are key words for eating and drinking. How would it be like if every sip or bite was orgasmic pleasure for you and your body? And how would it be like, if you stopped eating when that sensation ended?

3. Use the nature for boosting your mood and to destress. Walk, be, exercise, play in nature. Use all your senses, recharge your energy and create a loving connection with Mother Earth.

4. Be creative, play, spend time on activities with no purpose – just because it’s fun and joyful. Use your creative abilitites as destress, meditative activities.

5. Sleep well. Prioritize your sleep, which besides providing good energy for the day, also has an effect on your overall health, body and mind.

6. Laugh more! Watch funny youtube videos, play with your pet, watch hilarious movies. Read funny books, ride a rollercoaster, laugh with your friends. Do what triggers smiles, laughter and rolling on the floor joyful time.

7. Be with people you care for and who exude loving energy, high vibes and happiness. And whom you can send your gratitude and love to. Love comes in many wonderful variations, from loving kindness, to deep grateful love. Gratitude, kindness and love are immensely healing and relaxing.

8. Practice gratitude and feel the optimism and happiness blooming in your life. It lets you focus on all the glorious things in your life, which makes this encredibly healthy and healing for body and soul.

9. Stop judging yourself and your body. Stop the degenerating inner dialogue, and stop judging others. Your body will not get healthy and beautiful with foul words, stress and battle against it. Communicate with your body as if it was your lover, ask what it desires to eat, wear, how to move, look etc. Stop trying to change your body and appearance from judgment – create with gratitude, questions and awareness.

10. Help others, create joy and happiness in your life by making other people happy.

11. Move away from the screen! Spend more time without your computer, iPad or smartphone, and spend time interacting with other people, or just be you with no stimulants. Constant time in front of the screen can create stress and imbalance in all of your systems in body and mind.

12. Practise mindfulness, deep breathing, meditation and visualizing to destress body and mind, and focus the thoughts away from worry and stressful mindchatter. Mindfulness can be integrated in all activities and actions, just be present, attentive and in the now.

13. Cultivate peace, quiet, calmness and stillness. Take a nap, be in a quiet room, in your garden or in nature. A place where you can be in solitude, no interruptions, and just enjoy the peace and quiet.

14. Cuttle, hug, kiss, let your body enjoy another body. It releases pleasure- and love homones wich creates the ultimate relaxation and healing environment in body and mind. This is health in the utmost yummy and delicious way – yes please 🙂

15. Move your body every day, and do something you enjoy. Pleasurable and fun exercise. As a minimum go for a long walk, and otherwise do what feels good in your body. It could be yoga, stretching, dancing, running, or what is joyful for you.

16. Do what works for you! Don’t follow this guide, diets or health regimes headless without sensing if it creates resonance within you, and is in accordance with your values. Find your own way, your own truth by asking yourself and your body every day what it takes. Create a life and healthy lifestyle that works for you by making concsiouss choices, asking questions and sharpen your awareness.
